A PERFECT MATCH!
Comments:
Our company finished a Front Porch remodeling in a Historical Property in Washington, DC. The Door needed a new mail slot to go along the light fixtures and this item was perfect for the Front Door!
Back to the 1940's.
Comments:
Houses in my neighborhood date from the early 1940's. Somewhere along the way the previous owner of my home changed the original front door eliminating its mail slot in the process. Installation of your hammered bronze mail slot on the new door restores authenticity to the house. (Convenient too!)

Product is very nice. However it was not clearly described in the product description. The dimensions described were correct. However it did not mention the way that the mail slot operates, the front of the slot pushes up and into the hole in the wall when you lift the flap. This caused the dimensions to be incorrect and not work with my house. I had to return the item because I didnt want to have to cut another hole in my wall.
I would recommend this to my friends.

IT WAS JUST WHAT MY CONTRACTOR AND I EXPECTED AND IT WAS DELIVERED IN A TIMELY MANNER AT AN AFFORADABLE PRICE.
Love this mail slot!
Comments:
I love this mail slot…it's very wide so my mail isn't folded anymore, great quality and looks like it's always been there. It would be even better if it came with a template.
Mail gal loves it
Comments:
I ordered this knowing it was designed for installation in a door and that I likely was going to need it installed in the wall. The person I spoke to on the phone made sure I knew it would take some major fabricating to install it in a wall. I ordered it anyway and yes, my contractor did need to do some major fabricating. That being said, I would order this same slot again. It is perfect for my needs.
My beautiful mail slot
Comments:
My old mail was not expense on my old door. I recently purchase a solid wood door with a beautiful stain. I had all the hardware except my mail slot. I looked own many sites until I came across this well crafted, very large magazine mail slot in bronze. Was it a little expense? yes, but well worth it.
