Renovating my craftsman home, left me without a satisfying plate cover. These are perfect!

Great for mission style reproduction

These covers look great and are solid. However there's a pesky design flaw. A normal switch plate cover sort of has sides on it that allow it to wrap around the outside face of the box. This cover, however, has a flat back. When installed over a remodel box it doesn't lay flat to the wall. Your box needs to be recessed into the wall for the cover to be flush to the wall.

These covers were the perfect finishing touch to our living room and dining room remodel. They made the rooms feel like they were meant to feel like when the house was first built.

Very good product. It would have been even better if it didn't stick out from the wall. It should have a cutout for the switch behind the plate.

I was not expected the cover to be so heavy and so elegant. I was thinking it would be a lightweight, flimsy cover, not a real piece of metal!!!!
