Description

Pacific Hardware's circa 1912 Bastile pattern inspired our creation of this striking Craftsman-style arts and crafts double toggle switch plate in oil-rubbed bronze. We've replicated the unique window-pane design, with its incised border and characteristic hammered surface, in solid, cast brass. An oil-rubbed bronze finish with copper highlights completes the authentic look. 6 3/4-inch x 4 1/2-inch.

Dimensions: 6 3/4" H x 4 1/2" W. Projection: 1/8".

Please note this cover plate has a flat backside.

Hardware Tip

For an authentic period look in your restoration or vintage-style new construction, install black or brown switches and outlets in combination with our reproduction cover plates.

Art work for light switches

We built a new home and replaced all the light switches and outlet covers on our main floor. These look beautiful. Our friends noticed them immediately and have complimented how nice they look.

Arts & Crafts style

Unlike plastic or ceramic switch plates, the solid metal will not crack when installed on the uneven surfaces of a 100 yr old wall. Real metal finished screws are much better than the usual painted ones. The plate may stick out from the wall if the electrical box is not slightly recessed from the wall surface. Not all of mine were, but this hardly shows.

beautiful, great detail

Beautiful and nicely detailed, really adds to the house. Fits flush on the wall, easy to install and looks great. I did need to change the switches to brown - they did not look good with white! I am ordering more.
