Description

Period perfect octagon glass knobs add a refined note to our rugged craftsman privacy set. Pacific Hardware of Los Angeles, the legendary pioneers of Arts & Crafts hardware, created this distinctive window-pane pattern around 1912. We've recreated their hand-crafted, hand-hammered design, originally known as "Bastile," in heavy-duty cast brass. A deep, oiled-bronze finish with subtle copper highlights completes the authentic look.

Door set dimensions: Octagonal glass doorknobs measure 2 1/4" in diameter. Back plates measure 8 1/8" H x 2 9/16" W.

Latch dimensions: Backset: 2 3/8" (non-standard 2 3/4" backset available; call for details). Latch case: 7/8" diameter. Latch face plate: 2 1/4" H x 1" W. The locking mechanism for this latch is a small pin located on the back plate near the base of the door knob.

A great antique looking price with great craftsmanship

Comments:

I have ordered many products from House of Antique Hardware because a I am building a new house. Everything has been great quality and craftsmanship. You really need to try and order their products.

Beautiful Knob.

Comments:

The best part was that I could install it myself, but it looked like something only a professional could do.

Comments:

Knobs and backplate are solid and look great, however, there are a few drawbacks. First, the mortis lock body is cheap and plastic feeling. Second, the door strikes are unlacquered brass while the backplates are oil rubbed bronze so they don't match. Finally, mounting screws are too long for my doors.

Very nice, have purchased several items from this group
