New old stuff

Comments:

I was pleased to discover your site. This allows me to restore to original our old house lights

works fine, looks good

Comments:

Looks good in original brass switchplate. Installed in double gang box next to an existing original switch. You can see it looks new compared to the original (intalled 1920's) but average person would not notice anything other than that.

""Old fashioned"" is Back in Fashion !

Comments:

I am so glad you had these reproductions - it was so nice to convert our lighting back to the original !! Love the snap to that era of lighting !

Guests Love Them

Comments:

These authentic reproductions make a big hit at our house. Guest marvel at them & believe them to be original equipment. They are in amazement when I tell them they are reproduction...and yes they love the ""click"" sound they make.

Just like Nana's house

Comments:

Recently bought a pre civil war home in PA and wanted the feel of my Nana's house which is my fondest childhood memory. I will gradually replace every light switch in the house with these push button switches and feel a little of that warmth and love I remember every time I use them.

Brings back childhood memories

Comments:

We recently bought a 162 year old farmhouse and are putting in a first floor powder room. I remember how much I loved the push button light switches in my Nana's house when I was a little girl and thought, given the age of the house, the push button light switch would be true to the time period when the house got electricity. We intend on replacing all the switch in the house with push buttons.

Go for the premium one

Comments:

Home improvements on an 85yr old home. If you are looking for a more realistic feeling switch, then go for the premium switch.

Great Looking Switch

Comments:

I live in a victorian house where everything is non-standard. Electric boxes are smaller than todays. I was relieved to find the switches fit perfectly.

Too clunky a spound.

Comments:

I love that this reproduction is available for my 40""s home. I made the mistake of ordering the standard instead of the premium the first time. I have switched to the premium push button and can really tell the difference in the sound when pushing the buttons. The standard push button has a real tinny sound compared to the premium. I will only buy the premium for the rest.

Look Good but Sound Not So good

Comments:

These switches look as good as the originals, but lack the reassuring ""thunk"" of the old ones when they are switched off and on. These make more of a ""twang"" noise when switched off - and they're almost silent when turned on. Maybe the premium switches sound better, and I should have paid the extra four dollars. Overall, I like the look but cringe when I hear the noise they make when pushed off and on.
