95 year old renovation project
Comments:
We are planning to renovate a 95 year old house and these push button switches are of the period and style. Plus they are modern construction. These add a rich classic feel. Wish I had found these when I renovated a 150 yr old house a few years back.... My electrician was shocked to know I found newly-made, authentic reproductions.
A nice reproduction

I suspect it was a fluke but the first one of these I ordered felt a little flimsy and broke two days after it was installed. I wrote an email to these folks and let them know that the switch wasn't working and that same day they put a new one in the mail for me. Its really rare that I come across a company run as well as this one, I was actually shocked to be treated so well. At any rate the new switch has arrived, the action is stiffer and is working great.
amazing likeness

We have push button light switches in the 100+ yr old house..I wanted a match to emphasize the old switches and these are perfect...I will be ordering more..and since this switch is so perfectly made, I will be ordering drawer pulls and castors for a tea, coffee, and spice cabinet which I am refinishing. The quality of their pieces are wonderful.

Arts & Crafts light switch

A great product and way away from the normal. This switch works great with one exception. I am sure many of us are used to the flipstyle switches most common in homes today and after a number of weeks I am stil walking into the room and trying to flip the switch instead of just push the button. I have a competely finished and large basement, maybe 3000 square feet and am thinking about utilizing these switches in the formal areas bar room, living room, and theater room. Real fun and a throw back to an earlier time.
attractive replacements for 100 year old
Comments:
I'd bought other push button switches from your company before, but these seem a little less well made. When you push the buttons, there is a twangy sound like a spring being plucked.
Authentic look with modern manufacturing
Comments:
Restoring rooms with period appropriate furnishings is costly but worth the investment. Adding period appropriate wall switches adds to the customer experience of stepping back in time. These switches are U/L Approved which is important for my business.
Awesome Deal

In search of replacement replica switches for our older home that we just bought, we found The House of Hardware website by searching the web. These light switches are wonderful. They look awesome, work great, and are just perfect for what we wanted for our house. They look original, classy, and less expensive that others that we found.
Beautiful and Fun

The push buttoms are gorgeous, work great, and add an authentic touch. This is an item where we had it right in the past and never should've changed it.
