I would buy these for the whole house!

Comments:

I really like the switch! It resembles very closely the old pushbutton light swtich that came out of the wall, only it's backed with plastic instead of porcelain. To be honest, this is easier to work with. The entire assembly is lighter due to the plastic casing, but still has the sturdy, quality feel of the old one with a good solid click when the switches are engaged. I particularly love the fact that the buttons have real mother of pearl inlay just like the old switch. The buttons themselves have a much more finished look to them - they were manufactured to a higher degree of precision thanks to the availability of modern machinery, and this is one way one can easily tell the switches apart. The installation was easy and trouble free, and I won't hesitate to purchase more as I need them. It's wonderful that I can retain the turn of the century look of the old switches with modern equipment. It's great to know someone still believes in quality combined with classy looks!

Just like Grandma's old house

Comments:

In a fit of nostalgia I ordered a push-button light switch for my turn-of-the-century cottage. I'm so glad I did! The classy mother of pearl buttons are very pretty, and the overall look is just like the switches I remember from my grandparents' house. One by one, I think I'm going to change them all.

Arts & Crafts light switch

Comments:

A great product and way away from the normal. This switch works great with one exception. I am sure many of us are used to the flipstyle switches most common in homes today and after a number of weeks I am stil walking into the room and trying to flip the switch instead of just push the button. I have a competely finished and large basement, maybe 3000 square feet and am thinking about utilizing these switches in the formal areas bar room, living room, and theater room. Real fun and a throw back to an earlier time.

LOVE the mother-of-pearl inlay!

Comments:

We had an electrician install this switch and she found it easy to work with. We love the mother of pearl inlay. Past homeowner had painted over the old mother of pearl inlay on the switch...sad. We feel that the switch we bought from you looks greats/works great! Thanks!

I love Classic Push Button Light Switch

A nice reproduction

Comments:

I suspect it was a fluke but the first one of these I ordered felt a little flimsy and broke two days after it was installed. I wrote an email to these folks and let them know that the switch wasn't working and that same day they put a new one in the mail for me. Its really rare that I come across a company run as well as this one, I was actually shocked to be treated so well. At any rate the new switch has arrived, the action is stiffer and is working great.

Great replication

Comments:

We love the aesthetic of the switches; however, we always order extras so they can be replaced when they go bad. Some don't work right out of the box. We know this and our clients know this going in to our projects but use them anyway because our projects are so period sensitive.

Take me back

really adds a finishing touch to my old bathroom

Just like Grandmas house !

Comments:

These pushbutton switches are quite the conversation piece, especiall for younger people who never knew these were once the ""norm"" before the toggle switch came along. I like the style, and they function perfectly. The only slight drawback is I remember the older originals having a slightly larger button, and a more resounding ""click"" when pushed. I wouldn't let that stop me from buying more to add throughout the house, they are a very important part to add if you are doing an old house.
