Beautiful Blast from the Past!
Comments:
Love these push button switches!! It's the details that make the house and these are stunning right down to the clicking sound as you turn the lights on and off. Perfect!
Keeping it classic!
Comments:
We are renovating our newly purchased Victorian home. We wanted to keep some of these classic Victorian elements while blending with some newer updates. These traditional Victorian push button switches are a simple way to maintain the rich tradition in every room! We can even wire them ourselves! The design is solid and adds that extra bit of charm. We love them!!!
Good for restoring that period charm
Comments:
Excellent product, except that the mother of pearl on one of the four switches I purchased fell off within a week. UL approved. Easy to install. Fits in a standard switch box. Quiet operation. The room looks much better using this old-style button switch. I purchased antique switch plates here, also.
Old School Charm
Comments:
Eveyone asks me if it was original to the house and loves the old style switch. I used this in my downstairs bathroom with a matching switch plate.
Kitchen Switch
Comments:
Added wainscoting to our kitchen and the switch is a great finishing touch
Works great looks correct.

I'm restoring a Victorian with old electric. I was concerned that I would not be able to match the old switches correctly, but I dont trust the old ones. I'm very glad I found these. They look great and seem to work like the original without the worry of my big box of wood going up in flames.
Not Very Happy
Comments:
I will be calling. The screw holes in the plates do not line up properly with the screw holes in the switch and each one is different which means the process is bad and varies from switch to switch. On two of the switches it's impossible to put in the second screw.
Beautiful and Fun
Comments:
The push buttoms are gorgeous, work great, and add an authentic touch. This is an item where we had it right in the past and never should've changed it.
High dollar, cheap product
Comments:
I would not buy this product again, I bought 13 push button switches and on at least half of them the mother of pearl inlay has popped off since they were put in the switch plugs. I have had to super glue so I do not loose the fake pearl inlay which is so cheaply applied. Unfortunately they were already on the wall before they began to pop out and I did not want to pay my electrician to come back take them out and pay to send them back and then pay a restocking fee. So I will not buy them for the other 3 floors in the house that need switches.
Excellent switch from cheap plastic
Comments:
Apartment owners who rent to others use the cheapest materials that maintain some reliability, and mercury switches are a fine example: they're silent, maintenance-free, and cheap. So they are ubiquitous, even where more traditional switches would be appropriate to the decor. I wanted a more solid, traditional look, one that didn't advertise my home as flophouse ruled by slumlords. These switches were the ticket. Once I'd installed one, I had to replace every switch in the house.
