Patterned after early 20th century designs, it's the perfect companion to our own standard push-button switches. All of our dimmers are built to modern safety standards (UL and CUL listed), and suitable for restoration or new construction alike.

UL listed for use with dimmable Incandescent, Halogen & LED bulbs. Can be installed with the dimmer button in the top or bottom position. The 300-watt version is suitable for smaller fixtures or chandeliers with low wattage bulbs. The 600-watt version is suitable for larger fixtures or chandeliers with high wattage bulbs.

Dimmer case dimensions: 1 3/4" W x 2 3/4" H x 1 3/8" D. Rated for 120V - 60Hz.

Great Period Look

Comments:

We've recently acquired a c. 1690 sea captain's full cape on Cape Cod, MA. There are many repairs/upgrades needed, but when some of our light switches stopped working, they went to the top of the list. We hired an electrician, although the right experienced handyman would be able to install these switches. We strive to get an early look without being authentically late 17th century since electricity (nor plumbing for that matter) existed in 1690. These switches were very quick and easy for my electrician to install. I believe an experienced homeowner or handyman would be easily able to install them. They look authentic with the hidden dimmer on the bottom knob. I wasn't sure if I liked the fact that you just tap the top button to turn the switch on and off, but I have quickly gotten used to it. I find it quick and easy to just give the button a tap and it clicks on or off. We only just installed them a few days ago and already I am getting a lot of positive comments. I am planning to order more so the whole house will be ""switched out"" with the new switches and they will all match for a cohesive flow in the house. Since we only just installed them, I don't know how they will hold up. I have confidence, however, that they will continue to work smoothly for many years to come.

Great Switch

Comments:

Great Switch! I was looking for a light dimmer switch that fit the period of our home (I hate those dumb disc switches) This is the perfect switch, we are in the process of switching all the light switches back to push button and the dimmer was a challenge until I found this! Such a great Switch! Ian

High quality switch

Beautiful and well-made item for a early 20th century home vintage look. Works great and looks authentic

Longevity Really Questionable

Comments:

I've replaced one of the 3-way dimmer switches at least 3 or 4 times already in 19 1/2 years. It broke again last night and the kitchen lights won't work until I can get another. The model numbers seem to have changed over the years and some have had trimmed plates for easier fitment (which reduces wattage rating). The last time I replaced this was in 2011. So, counting shipping, this last switch lasted about 8 years. Considering I seldom need to replace a regular flip light switch, ever, I'd say these are inferior when it comes to durability. The only reason I buy the same is because my wife likes them. Other companies offer 1-day shipping for significantly less.

Perfect for our 1926 4-Square.

Excellent switch. I wasn't sure if we would be able to use these dimmers, since we were replacing the original push-button switches, which were wired into the old knob and tube wiring, but our electrician was able to install with no problems at all. These dimmers work awesome on lights that were previously too bright to ever really use. Very very happy with this purchase. Appears consistent with ones I used to purchase at Rejuvenation, but was a fraction of the cost.

These are as marvelous as we'd hoped The bee's knees!

Comments:

We are so excited to eventually put these in every room in our home!

Worked perfectly and looks great.

Fit into today's electrical boxes as other switches.
