Unique light switch well crafted

Comments:

I really like this light switch, the positive feel it has turning on and off, even the ""thunk"" noise it makes when turning off the light adds to the charm. It is well made, feels and looks solid and adds a nice dimension than the standard light switch. Might be just a touch on the high side for cost, especially as I intend to replace the rest of my light switches with this product, but the look it will give to the house is worth it.

Just like the first ones!

Comments:

Our house was built in 1891. Switches that look like the ones I just bought from House of Antique Hardware were installed when they converted the house to electricity. It was only right that I replace old ones plus ""modern"" ones from previous ""renovations"" with what the house is comfortable with (and wiring that I am comfortable with). My electrician was amazed. They are exactly right, down to the substantial mother of pearl inlay and decided ""click."" And the quality is better and the price is lower than others I've looked at; how good is that? I've already recommended them to a friend.

Fabulous Retro Push Button Switch

Comments:

Major renovation of a 200 year old home

Great product with just the right look

Comments:

I had a gas fireplace that had a regular toggle on/off switch that people would turn on and off thinking it controlled a nearby light. I decided that I wanted to put something over there that looked different so that people wouldn't generally turn it on/off to try to figure it out. The fireplace is built into a room divider and surrounded by built-in bookcases in a craftsman-esque style and the idea of a push-button switch seemed like a good match for the style and would give guests a little pause before simply using it. The switch is very well made and looks great. I bought a venetian bronze cover for it which matches the switch well as well as other elements around my house. Works well and I've not had a single issue with it.
