I would look for other options before buying this

The mother of pearl insets came off two of the switches within days of use. One I found and glued back on, the other is missing. Overall, it looks great and functions well, but the loss of the inset and the implied quality is concerning.
Well-made, reliable, and authentic

Installed 10 switches (so far) in our 1920s brick bungalow. They are UL certified and really enhance the craftsman look of the home that we're gradually recreating. Action of the push-switches is firm and has a reassuring click when engaged, unlike most toggle switches. The screw terminals easily accept a single 12-gauge wire. Because of this, if there is space in the outlet box, it is best that the switch is wired via pigtail connections, rather than doubled wires.

The look is authentic, however the sound when the buttons are pressed is not. Makes a ""boing"" sound rather than a click.

Very good replacement for standard light switch

Ease of installation is rated as Experienced Handyman - the product is very easy to install, but I am not going to recommend that just anyone do so. If you are not experienced working around 120V wires, then have someone else install this item. The product is well crafted, brings back good memories of my grand parents house in Europe, where the push button light switch is as common for older houses as our toggle switch. I think it has a much better look and feel than the toggle switch, adds something to the house.

a solid piece

This a more basic version of the Classic Accent push button switch - doesn't feel as nice in action as the CA, kinds noisy when turning the switch to the off position. I think the CA is a better feeling switch, though maybe the standard with will last longer than the CA (I've broken a couple of them, though they are high traffic areas, with 15+ years behind them)
