Great quality - will be buying a bunch more!
Comments:
We bought this model of push-button switch after trying a lesser model from another company. The Premium House of Antique Hardware model is totally worth the couple of bucks extra. The action is much smoother and more satisfying, and the real mother of pearl makes a visual difference. The build quality is simply better on this one. I think it will always feel a bit different from the old versions, but that is completely acceptable and understandable for the increased safety. But, this is the most robust ""non-wiggly"" button action I have felt on any model. Will be getting a bunch more to complete my house.
I absolutely love this light switch! So unique and well made

very happy customer
A great item.

Makes a great touch to realism in the look for restoration of 1884 Victorian; items are new but look original to when electricity was first installed in the house.
I wish I had more places to put them all!

Restoration of 120 year old house

Restoring old house to original configuration.
Worth the price to maintain historic aesthetic
Comments:
This push button light switch has a modern setup that looks normal to anyone familiar with lighting a switch. The buttons have a nice, firm click/pop to them that say ""I'm on"" or ""I'm off"" when pressed. The pearls are a beautiful touch. Planning on switching out multiple switches throughout my historic home.

The vintage look yet safe.
Comments:
I have been slowly replacing traditional light switches on my first floor of my vintage home. I liked the premium switches a little better - the look and feel replicate the originals yet I am confident these are safe. Matched with the brass covers - it really adds a little history feel to the house.
Perfect Restoration Piece
Comments:
We used this product in a restoration of a 120 year old home that had never been restored: all the original hardware and lighting was still intact when we took on the project. (As were the floors, plaster, trim, etc.) For this particular project we needed to simply replace the 100 year old push button switches with modern day switches. This product was perfect: the Premium Switches fit the hole profile of the original brass plates exactly: once installed you could tell no difference at all.
