Create a Historic Home

Comments:

We ordered enough of these light switches to do all of our downstairs. They look amazing. . it is amazing how something so simple like a light switch can change the look and add that extra craftsman style.

Great quality reproduction, Looks original

Comments:

Great quality reproduction, Looks original. Only bad thing is that you will have to tell friends and family how to turn on the lights.

Authentic operation

Comments:

This reminds me of the switches my grandparents had in their house

Good.

Comments:

It was exactly what I expected. It can be installed as easily as any other light switch. It was more expensive than an ""ordinary"" light switch; I call these things, and their switch plates, ""house jewelry."" I thought it was worth it.

Very Nice But Expected More

Comments:

I ordered 12 of these (2 were three-way switches). There is no denying that these are unique and add a touch of vintage charm. They look good and operate well for turning off and on. However the plastic portions are a bit disappointing in that they look and more importantly feel of lesser quality, they also make a very plastic click sound not at all similar to the originals. Some of the individual buttons do not sit evenly - one button will be perfectly aligned while the other sits angled to the side or droops. Some of the buttons have a nice tight feel when you push it, while others wobble and are loose. The pearl inlays fall out DURING installation - one of them I had just finished putting the last screw in, hadn't even pushed the button yet, and the pearl inlay broke in half and fell off! There must have been a crack during manufacturing and it just decide to then break. What you're paying for is the uniqueness of them. I would only recommend these to a friend once telling them of the cons, because they are very nice to look at.

Love this light switch. Added a beautiful detail to a small

Small detail. BIG impact

better than other products out there

Comments:

I have some original push buttons so I'm comparing against that. Even so, I think it's a good product and have bought many of them. While Plastic, they still have a nice pop and people enjoy using them. Nothing are like the originals, but these are a descent replacement and better than the classic accent ones (I have both for comparison). go for the mother of pearl and avoid the dimmers, they don't pop like these single pole push buttons.

Fun addition to home.

Comments:

Glad I had a handyman do the installation since a bit of rewiring was required on my old light switch.

I will be buying more of them, restoring a 1904 house

Comments:

Appears to be a good product, I won't know for sure until this spring when we go out there to install, we will be ordering more if all works out
