Just THE BEST!

Comments:

When we purchased our 1912 house 35 years ago, absolutely nothing had been updated: electrically, the entire house was on 4 fuses. That was our first upgrade, and it also involved things like adding outdoor lights at the entrances and hallway lighting. Money was tight, so we did the basics -- including generic toggle switches and plastic switch plates. After a recent re-paint, I was thrilled to have a few dollars to upgrade three switches (including two 3-ways) to push buttons and add a brass plate: The difference is truly in the details! I LOVE HAH, and hope to add more period-authentic upgrades when I can. (Brass storm door hardware has already been added to two doors, as well as bush-button dimmer switches that look just like ""regular"" push-button switches. Can't speak highly enough of this place!

Restoring a Farmhouse

Comments:

This makes the restoration of a bedroom absolutely authentic for our 1922 home. Best investment!

So much nicer than flip switches

Comments:

Very smooth action. Easy to install. Mother of Pearl is beautiful. Looks authentic to the house.

Turning back the clock on our 100 year old house

Comments:

Our 100 yr. old house still had 4 of the original old push-button switches. This is a house that I grew up in from 1952-1966. My wife and I re-purchased the house in 1999 from the wife of the couple that my parents sold it to in 1966. We are trying to retro-remodel it to its original look & feel as much as possible. These electrical accessories are perfect for the look we're after.

1926 house

Comments:

We were very pleased with these push button switches. The worked perfectly to replace the push button switches in our 1926 house. Sometimes tiny details make all the difference in restoring a vintage house.

Push button happy

Comments:

It is nice to find good quality reproductions to replace the old failing push button light switches to preserve that small detail of authenticity

Blends in well in old house.

Comments:

This blends in well with our 1900 farmhouse. The finishes on some switches are better than others, including some of the mother-of-pearl inlays. The switches don't 'snap' like old swicthes but they look period authentic and are UL approved. The screws to connect the wiring are a bit tight if you use 12 ga. wire.

Exceeded expectations

Comments:

I used this in an addition that I am doing in a Victorian/Industrial style. It looks great and works as it should,

Yes I would buy again

Comments:

Normal light switch is very positive clicking on and off very similar to original. The three way and dimmer switch are not as sturdy. Upper switch button rolls between fingers and is not as positive a switch as single pole. I wouldn't say rickety however ( to strong of a term). It's best described as loose fitting for ease of operation. Finally the dimmer function with LED s fluctuate. UNDERSTAND THIS MAY NOT BE DUE TO THE SWITCH !!!!! But may be due to how LED s operate !!!!!
