Perfect for our home

Comments:

Our 1913 Craftsman style bungalow needed electrical updates, and our electrician suggested replacing some of the original switches. I didn't want to lose the look of the original push buttons so I am so pleased to have found these. They have a similar ""snap"" feel to them. It is not exactly the same but pretty close. After installation they look pretty similar to the original ones. I purchased quite a few of these and also replaced some more modern switches added over the years with these to maintain the original look throughout the main floor. The electrician was pleased with them and impressed with the quality. He did some of the replacements and we did some ourselves.

I like these the best

Comments:

I bought both the white and black, These are my favorite

Just OK Switch

Comments:

Only the Copywriter thinks that this switch has the feel and sound of original push button switches. I've got original switches that are over 50 years old and work perfectly. While these switches are OK... I'm lucky if they last 5 years.

Fine product, all I could hope for the.

Looks and works great.

Great quality & price from AHOH

Comments:

I bought similar switches form other sites & while they may have been fractionally less expensive the quality was not a good as AHOH has. I have 2 more rooms that I need to buy switches for once I redecorate & will not buy from anywhere other than AHOH. The ONLY issue I have with the switches is that some make that sharp clicking sound & some don't. However, I can't be 100% sure that the switches that do not click are from AHOH, but I'm pretty sure they are not. The ones that don't click have had to be replaced while the ones that click have never been replaced. These are also very easy to install. Not that I recommend it but, changing the switches was my first time ever doing any kind of electrical work in my house myself.

My house is very happy!

Comments:

The old switch just played out ... looked and looked for one exactly like it, at a reasonable price + shipping. Found all three at Antique Hardware. Will definitely order from them again as we continue restoring this old house.

I have been using these for years.

Comments:

These work great. I see no reason to spend more on other ones I have seen on the market. The price and quality is good.

Great Look, Safer Than My Old Switches, Different ""Feel""

Comments:

These switches look ""exactly"" like the ones I replaced from the early 1900's. The look is AUTHENTIC! They also match up well with my original brass faceplates. I am no longer worried about the electrical integrity of the old switches- which has brought peace of mind. The new switches do not have the same ""feel"" of the old- understandable, since the old switches were made of metal and porcelain and the new switches are mostly made of plastic materials. This is really only apparent to me/my wife, since visitors don't have the same reference points as we do. A minor issue- not one that I can fully quantify- is that my electrician commented that the ground on the switches was not very ""robust,"" but, in the end, it was good enough for him to make a proper installation. I have several more switches to install and will continue using these from HOAH.

Best push button light switch

Comments:

I grew up in the Midwest in the 60s. I have fond memories of these pushbutton light switches in my grandmothers house. Now that I'm building my own house, I wanted to indulge nostalgia and get the same kind of switches. After hours reading reviews all over the Internet, I settled on this switch as the best available. I won't be able to actually install them for some months, but I'm looking forward to it.
