This iridescent shell shimmers as it reflects light, adding a touch of subtle elegance. Perfect touch to our remodel

Mother-of-Pearl Premium Push Button light switch

Restoring my 1900 home to it's original, period style. I am replacing all the light switches to push button style. When I discovered House Of Antique Hardware's website, I was really tickled to see exactly what I was looking for! Great selection of all their items for restoring my home.

Mother of Pearl looks nothing like the picture

Operation is smooth but very disappointed with the look. One of three switches is close to the representative photo. One of the mother of Pearl buttons simply looks like a black piece of plastic.

Meh.

Comments:

I really loved these! Until the one in my sons room failed and the mother of pearl fell out on another. Then two more failed on installation. All of this occurred in under a year during a remodel- all where installed by a licensed electrician. Ive reached out for replacements for the three that have failed but Im worried about a systemic quality issue at this point.

Small change but a big difference

Comments:

My ""new"" 1910 home needs reverse updating from 1955 plus some prettying-up and this was one small thing that made a huge difference from an aesthetic standpoint. Will be ordering more as I work my way through rooms. Love them.
