4-Inch Solid Brass Door Hinge With Ball Finials

These hinges replaced old, painted steel hinges that also had ball finials. A very nice detail used on three sets of French doors that really helped the doors stand out as you enter various rooms. Excellent value! One caution.... if your are using these as replacement hinges, you may find that the screw hole pattern does not line up with your original hinge hole pattern. Be prepared to address that issue.

High quality hinge, looked just as I expected!

Our house is about 90 years old and we have done a lot of work on it. Previous owners had replaced hinges with cheap metals and painted them. More than a year ago I bought ""test"" hinges from several different manufactures, I was not about to change them all before knowing what I was getting into. We lived with them and found some left graphite clouds on the woodwork, other had sticky grease that attracted dog fur. The House of Antique Hardware hinges did none of that and looked the best. Functioned great, solid with an excellent finish. I am now replacing all the hinges in the house.

Renovating a 1915 Colonial Revival. While we are refurbishing and reusing the majority of the hardware in the house, there were several hinges that were brass plated steel rather than solid brass. These hinges are an excellent quality replacement at a great price point. The construction is solid with accurate dimensions and details. The only negative is the quality of the screws included. They're not up to the quality of the hinges themselves. Not unique to this item. I find that it is often difficult to obtain high quality fasteners these days. Otherwise a great product!

These hinges were the perfect option to replace the worn-out hinges on my entry door. These new hinges are similar in style due to the ball finials, although the ball tips are slightly smaller than the old hinges I replaced. Overall I was very please with the quality, packaging, and finish on these new hinges.

The ball finial hinges were use in restoring the closets and non-public doors in keeping with the original look, but improving the quality for the original steel hinges. Worked great!

Excellent match for the brass plated steel hinges they replaced. Only difference was the screw pattern.
