It's so fun to restore a home to the original character that is consistent with the age of the house. This is what we've done with our home - built 1907. During previous remodels in the '50s and '70s it really suffered, but fixing these switches and replacing them with push buttons really makes it look authentic. I misread the instructions and installed the wires on the wrong terminals. So the lights didn't all work properly. I figured it out, switched the wires, and they work great.
A good value but they feel a little cheap.

These switches look fine and work smoothly, but almost too smoothly. They lack that authoritative clunk when you turn them on an off, like the original button switches had that I replaced these with. The action is a bit too light.

100 year old farm house renovation

This product is being used in a renovation of a 100 year old farm house. It looks beautiful against the shiplap. They are sturdy and weighty in the hand. Easy to install and appear the be very well crafted with a heavy click going from on to off positions. Will update after a years use and let you know how they are faring for the client.
