Our 1940 house has original glass door knobs and with chrome finish hardware, but over the years previous owners had painted over the keyhole covers. Cleaning off what is probably lead-based paint just didn't seem worth it, and these worked great as replacements. They are very close to the shape and dimensions of the originals and look great with our knobs.

Initially I was quite apprehensive in purchasing this item simply because of the price which was exceptionally CHEAP.You think cheap price, goes hand in hand with cheap quality,color, and design. To my surprise, quite contrary. Beautiful antique design, old age bronze was exact, quality is solid. I certainly would recommend this product to anyone.
