Replacement
Fit perfectly to replace a mortise I had in my 1920s houes
Comments:
I had a mortise for the master bedroom that had a key lock, but the key didn't work, so I got this mortise to replace it, and it has a twist knob which is more convenient anyway. It fit just right, and looks great. It was easy to install.

Like The Original W/Finish Options
Comments:
Like the original1926 installed bathroom mortise lock, good quality with finish options. High in price but this mortise lock meets all my criteria as compared to the other options out there. Purchased in nickle matching the other bathroom fixtures. Installation, some minor chiseling, epoxy fill for screw relocation, fits like a glove.

Quality lockset
Comments:
I was so happy to find this lockset it was exactly what I was looking for and the House of Antique Hardware was the ONLY place I could find one online. You tell just by picking it up that it is a quality piece of hardware. The only down side, is that none of the door knob spindles I have fit it, they're all just a hair too large. That's why I'm back on the site, looking to buy one of their spindles, so save yourself the some shipping fees and get one of those now.
