Comments:

Worked great, i had tried to find these is some special hardware stores and was unable to find anything. Gotta love internet shopping.

Brass Thumb turn order

Comments:

The project involved swapping out antique Baldwin Lock Works mortise locks for these replacements with precision internals and 7 year warranty. They were very nearly a direct swap-out.

door rehab

Comments:

It was used in a morticed front door lock and it worked well

Excellent complement to original 1930's/'40's hardware.

Comments:

Well-made brass product with near-identical proportions to the original thumb turn in a Northern Virginia c. 1930's-40's home. Is often mistaken for a repaired original. The length of the brass spindle may need shortening (easily done via a flat file) depending on the style of the mortise lock.

Excellent match to our 100 year old hardware!

Comments:

Unlaquered brass finish matches our original door hardware wonderfully!

Excellent replacement for Mortise locks

Comments:

Not a big deal, but you will need to trim the length of the spindle for a 2 sided lock. A dremel tool works great for this

Hard to find...

Comments:

This was one of those simple products you would think would be easy to find, after going to many hardware stores and a few specialty stores I had given up. Then a friend suggested HAH and there it was. Sometimes the smallest details can ruin a restoration, but thanks to HAH that didn't happen. And now I have the resource I need for other projects.
