Solid Brass Thumb Turn

Worked great, i had tried to find these is some special hardware stores and was unable to find anything. Gotta love internet shopping.

Product was just what I wanted.

This item was too long to fit into my door so I am currently unable to fit into the lock. Easily my mistake, but even looking around others, was not very clear on the length, I didn't expect any issues...could be an issue for other who may not thing of this and just be looking for ""prettier replacements"" like me

This was one of those simple products you would think would be easy to find, after going to many hardware stores and a few specialty stores I had given up. Then a friend suggested HAH and there it was. Sometimes the smallest details can ruin a restoration, but thanks to HAH that didn't happen. And now I have the resource I need for other projects.

Bought a satin nickel finish thumb turn at the local locksmith. It looked great but the white metal shaft broke off with the first turn after installation. For roughly the same price I purchased this solid brass thumbturn with the same nickel finish from the House of Antique Hardward. It looks great and it won't break!

Not a big deal, but you will need to trim the length of the spindle for a 2 sided lock. A dremel tool works great for this

I love that this thumb turn has the heavy feel of a true antique with the smooth, tight turning of a new product.
