"Acme" Cast Iron Mortise Shutter Hinges - 9" x 3 15/16"

This set of Acme Cast-Iron Mortise Shutter Hinges (9-Inch x 3 15/16-Inch) contains everything you need to hang one pair of shutters. The mid-Victorian design features a unique, patented pintle that keeps shutters securely in place. Heavy-duty and authentic. Made of raw, cast iron, they must be primed and painted to prevent rusting. Screws are not included.

Dimensions (each hinge): 9" W x 3 15/16" H. Throw (distance between the two mortised sections when fully open): 5 1/2". When selecting the proper hinge size for your window, allow a minimum 1" clearance between the shutter and the surface of wall for ventilating purposes.
