Our Triple-Strand Twisted Picture Hanging Cord with Wire Center (3/16-Inch Diameter) is an attractive alternative to nails for hanging your favorite pictures and photos. Made of rayon silk with a weight rating of 100 lbs., it holds large, heavy frames with ease. The cord ties to the back of the frame, then loops over a picture hook, preserving your walls while creating a vintage look. Choose from an array of popular color options. Elegant touch

The three strands wrapped together in a spiral can be separated and re-twisted as two, or used as one strand for smaller pictures. A little glue on the cut end prevents raveling. The colors are rich and deep for an elegant look.

Elegant Way to Hang Art

This is the only place where I have found the fabric wires for hanging artwork from the picture rail in my home. It looks great! Everyone that has come to my house loves the look and says "" why didn't I think of that?"" I just wish they had more colors because I like to match the frame to the fabric color. I've purchased the rail hangers from this site as well - they are all well crafted and beautiful. I love this site and their products.

Exactly what we needed

We decided to make a gallery in the long entrance hall of our home. We installed wood picture rail and ordered our hanging cord and picture hooks from House of Antique Hardware. The 3-ply cord is easy to use and strong enough for the larger pieces of artwork. The finished project looks professionally done. Our home is neither Victorian nor furnished with antiques, it is a newer home and very tradionally decorated. We receive positive comments from all who enter.
