I was pleased at how sturdy the cord turned out. It was easy to manipulate, strong (with the wire interior), and fit through most of the picture eyelets already on the paintings without a bother. Once up, the cords complimented the aesthetic effect nicely.

Using this item with our House of Antique Hardware picture rail hooks to give our art work a more formal look.

I wasn't sure what to expect with this and was very pleasantly surprised by the result. I also wasn't sure what color to order, so I ordered the color that matched the picture rail stain in my 1910 Arts and Crafts home. The darker colors would probably go better in a Craftsman, while I would imagine that the gold would be perfect for a Victorian. That turned out to be just perfect! The cord appears to be just simple string, but it is strengthed by wire. I was concerned that the heavier pictures wouldn't work with this, but again I was pleasantly surprised. My only regret is that I didn't order more because now I am going to need it.

We used it to hang a tapestry. Worked fine!

I expected the color to be a bit lighter, more antique ivory, but it is more beige. It still works with our decor. The cord is a bit thinner than I expected but it is very strong and is holding many heavy pieces.

I purchased this beautiful cord to hang pictures in my living room and dining room. It is not only good looking but extremely strong. I have received a number of compliments on the cord.
