Great product! I would Buy Again

Comments:

I used this product to hang pictures from my Picture rail

This Cord is Great!

Comments:

I purchased quite a bit of the Picture Hanging Cord in the past and it always worked very well. I have a special project I plan to tackle and needed additional cord. It works well and looks great! I highly recommend using it.

Wire adds security and strength

Comments:

Having the center wire made it easier to attach to the frame, I believe. The wire helps hold the cord in place when twisting around itself to secure the cord to the item being hung. Great idea!

Cord

Comments:

This cord is getting hard to find. I don't use it to hang pictures. I have other uses that only the wire centered cord will work. What I received works great and looks great. Good product.

perfect cord for hanging pictures in my Victorian home.

Comments:

Perfect for hanging my artwork from the picture rail in my Victorian Parlors.

Beautiful cords

Comments:

We ordered to go with the hooks for hanging art work from the new picture rails installed during our remodel

Classic, useful, elegant

Comments:

This is my go-to for picture frame wire. It is strong, elegant, easy to cut and comes in lots of colors.

Super strong and great looking

We've lived in a 1923 California bungalow for 35 years, and only when I was refurbishing a bedroom did I figure out the purpose of that woodwork about a foot below the ceiling---picture rail! We have some pictures form the 20s inside the house, and sure enough, they weren't pounding holes in the plaster to hang pictures. Most of the hardware in the house is polished nickel so the ""streamlined"" polished nickel picture rail hooks are perfect. The cord is very strong and can be trusted with really heavy things. The color is a matter of choice with the wall color. Antique white looks great with Sherwin Williams ""Jazz Age"" Blue Sky and off white woodwork. Copper is perfect with Behr Shanghai Jade and Minwax pecan stain on clear fir.

This stuff is strong and useful/not just a pretty idea

OK readers; For those, as was I, who wonder just how strong this mounting system is, here is a Review and photo proof[I cannot do 'photo-shop] of a real world application. The photo is below, but the details are, I have a needlepoint artwork appx 37in square. It is no lightweight. I first mounted a length of normal Crown Molding on the Wall selected[be sure there is something behind your wall for the screw to go it, just drywall alone, and the project fails] Then I added one of HoA.H. heavy brass picture hangers. I took off the extension cord that was the hanging 'cord' used! I then ran a length of this good cord thru the screw eye on the back of the Artwork, up to the length and back down to the other screw eye, thru it and tied it off, and 'Gorilla Taped"" the tied knot, just in case. Now I have two lengths of the Cord to hang on the Brass Hook . I then adjusted the Cord so the Ugly Knot was behind the Artwork, and hung it up. It has been several weeks[ I removed the pile of blankets, just in case, from the floor, three days into the hanging)and all is well in the art world of my house. I suspect, if your artwork was quite heavy, you could braid three or four strands into one, get a ""yuugee"" screw eye, or the like, and hang it that way. The more cord for a heavy object, the better, is my view. Now look below for the proof.

Great Item & Idea

Comments:

OK readers, try this for your pictures, it beats an extension cord any day! That is what I had on the back of my large, 36x37 framed needlepoint work of my grand-mothers. I paired the cord up with the Heavy Duty Cast Picture hook, and, Presto, a work of art that looks like a work of art. A great idea to keep the holes out of the house walls, and it looks classy. The cord is well made, the wire is well hidden, tho I could wish for a thicker wire center. The colour selection is useful, you can blend or contrast the hanging cord. A very useful product
