I was nervous about using picture rails and brightly-colored hanging cord. Now I'm glad I did. The twisted cord is not only strong and a lovely bronze shade, it sets off all our prized pictures and accents the room. Thank you for having these authentic products available.

The website's color guide is way off--at least where the ""burgundy"" cord they sent me was concerned. The stuff I got was actually violet. And I mean REALLY violet. Fortunately you can re-color by running a Sharpie over it. Plain old paint'll work fine, too.

Used these on a wall with a picture rail . I was able to hang a lot of pictures without one hole in the wall. I am able to relocate pictures along the wall easily. Love the idea

I used the antique gold picture hanging cord to hang pictures from the picture rail in a bedroom's recently restored wet plaster walls. I couldn't bear to put holes in the walls and the gold cord and picture hooks from Antique Hardware worked perfectly. Hanging pictures from rail using the cord added a richness to the design that I didn't anticipate. Now, I can move pictures anywhere in the room without damaging the walls. Brilliant!

Just did a remodel on lower level room to look like old library with rich wood finishes on the walls. Hated the thought of putting nails in the wood to hang paintings so added a picture rail to the design. Then came the problem of finding the right hardware and cord to complete the look. I did a search and looked for a week before finding your web site. What luck, got the look I wanted for a fraction of the price in other places. Have passed your web site on to other people as well!

I expected the color to be a bit lighter, more antique ivory, but it is more beige. It still works with our decor. The cord is a bit thinner than I expected but it is very strong and is holding many heavy pieces.

Glad I found this cord. First home that has concrete walls with picture moldings to hang and these were necessary to hang painting and worked great. Easy to cut and shape and hand. Great product.
