""Perfect hardware for an old house""

Comments:

My wife and I live in her old homeplace which was built in the early 1920's. All of the interior walls are plaster which means it is not the best idea to hang mirrors and heavy pictures from the walls. Every room has picture rails and we hang our mirrors and pictures with the hanging cord and the rail hooks we purchased from you. The antique cord and hooks are perfect. Many people who visit have never seen rail hooks and so we get many comments. Thank you for making them available.

""Yesterday "" Charm

Comments:

Just did a remodel on lower level room to look like old library with rich wood finishes on the walls. Hated the thought of putting nails in the wood to hang paintings so added a picture rail to the design. Then came the problem of finding the right hardware and cord to complete the look. I did a search and looked for a week before finding your web site. What luck, got the look I wanted for a fraction of the price in other places. Have passed your web site on to other people as well!

3 Ply Picture Hanging Cord Perfect!

Comments:

I used House of Antique Hardware's cord and hooks to hang two canvas photos that my son had taken while we were vacationing in Italy. Hanging the unframed canvases with cord and authentic hooks gave the already awesome pictures an added dimension that hanging alone would have never achieved. It was that simple yet wow affect I was looking for! Highly recommend trying something a little different. The value was GREAT when compared to framing a canvas and I like the affect much better.

3-ply twisted cord is great

Comments:

The product has been employed to hang framed items from the picture rail molding in the home. Everything looks great.

3-Ply Twisted Picture hanging Cord

Comments:

I recently moved into an 80 year old house with picture rails in two rooms. My landlord said none of his tenants have ever put up paintings or pictures hung from the picture rails. I love old homes and knew that was one thing I would do. I have since put up 5 paintings and they look amazing. No nail holes is a plus but for me it is the beautiful elegance of a time gone by.

3-Ply, give it a try!

Comments:

Was wondering how to hang a nifty but heavy mirror that I'd just acquired. Found exactly what I needed at House of Antique Hardware. Looks great, and the heavy item is hanging securely from the crown moulding in the room.

40 Yards Gold Cord

Comments:

I ordered 40 Yards of gold picture hanging cord. I expected it to come in one contiguous piece. It came cut up in three separate packages. I was really disappointed as that is not the way I ordered it. I did not order 10 yards of gold plus 15 yards of gold plus 15 yards of gold. Now I have more waste than I anticipated. This is unacceptable.

:Picture rail

Comments:

We have an 1820 home with a picture rail and we could not find this product. It is a quality item and we love working with it

A must for a historic interior

Comments:

Cord is strong and is the correct way to hang paintings in a historic interior from rails, rods or nails. This cord is also a good thickness.
