Eastlake push plate
Comments:
This push plate will be installed on the front door of a Victorian house in order to cover an old mail slot. Once installed...with insulation between the two plates....it should reduce drafts coming into the entry hall.
We love the new door push plate ... beautiful !

We are using it as a plate to keep our dog from scratching into our door plus it's lovely !
Beautiful ""push plate!""

Exactly what I wanted! Looks great!
Hand antiquing? Actually worth it, this thing glows!
Comments:
It's even nicer in person than I expected. I was hoping for unlacquered brass, and that would have been my first choice. We were replacing a bright, polished piece, but the antiquing was the only one that sort of fit the bill. NO RAGRETS. It's glowing in person and is now the only piece of hardware that people consistently notice and compliment when they visit. LOVE LOVE LOVE

We used 2 of these gorgeous plates to acorn a handmade wooden coffee table. We also purchased equally handsome front pulls for the matching side tables. We are thrilled about them.

Just the right PIZAZZ!!

During our remodel we decided to ""transform"" a regular door into a two-way swinging door. I found this push plate, which not only covered the hole where the original doorknob was, but added a touch of design and beauty to an otherwise plain door! I love it!
LOOKS GOOD AND IS STURDY
Comments:
It is important to use the correct size pilot holes for the screws. Holes in oak must be bigger than in pine; otherwise, the screws will tear in half. I've worked with oak before, so I knew that.
Gorgeous, looks so good
