Our exceptional Windsor pattern 4-inch brass hinges are some of the most beautiful and finely cast hinges on the market. Introduced by Reading Hardware in 1885, the whimsical aesthetic design is just as fresh and lovely today. Made of solid cast brass and available in your choice of three finishes.

Hardware Tip
Question: How are butt hinges measured? Answer: The height is just of the leaf not including the finials and the width is the total open width of both leaves and the knuckle.

Beautiful hinges huge upgrade
Comments:
I replaced cheap 4"" radius cornered hinges with these beautiful new hinges. I had to carefully chisel the corners. I also drilled out the old screw holes and filled them with glued in wood plugs cut from the same wood. The new hinges look amazing and work perfectly. Now I wish all the doors in my house and not just the front door had them!
