I will be back

Comments:

A lot of the original hardware in my 40's house was painted over. I was able to restore most of it. I purchased a set of door hinges. They fit very well. I had to plug a couple of holes that were slightly out of the original location.

These hinges wont leave you ""Unhinged""; Get it?

Comments:

So, it's kinda hard finding authentic pieces that fit in naturally when restoring an old cottage; Especially in Miami. Luckily, I was able to find cast iron hinges and all the trims that go along with it. The measurements are compatible with every fitting. The installation process was trouble-free.

NEVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED WITH THEM

Comments:

My house was built in 1910 and im slowly restoring each room, bringing back the character that it should have. This company has been very helpful obtaining detail items and have not been disappointed with anything so far. But I am most impressed so far with these door hinges. very heavy and well made.

I have purchased his particular product before

Comments:

I am glad that HOAH is there as a resource for items needed for restoration work.

Was looking for authentic hinge to match

Comments:

Was looking for authentic historic hinge for the restoration and rehab of a 1780's historic house. The cast iron hinges have that perfect look that captures a more crafted look rather than mass produced. The natural iron with lacquer finish looks great, so good that I may leave as is and not paint.

Excellent product that I would certainly reccomend.

Comments:

These hinges were used to replace badly deteriorated steel hinges that also had ball finials. They are very much a like for like swap, although you may find that the original screw holes do not line up with the new hinges and you will have to drill new holes. Should be none issue for the average do-it-yourselfer. Very nice finish and well satisfied with the overall value.

Cast Iron Door Hinges for an 1895 House

Comments:

Arrived on time and the quality exceeded my expectations

Sturdy hinge

Comments:

The hardware is high quality but the cost/time to have the doors and frames mortised properly has doubled my cost of already quite expensive doors.

Excellent hinge

Comments:

I own a 100+ year old house and have been resting it for 11 years. I wanted to reinstall an old door but there were no hinges with it. I purchased these and they worked great: solid and authentic.

Fantastic hinge for old world feel

Comments:

Used this hinge in the restoration and renovation of a 1927 Washington, DC row home. The old hinges were severely damaged and these fit very well with painted and dipped doors across many different styles. We also used these with new door additions to give a good feel of connection throughout the space. All in all, a wonderful product.
