New York Push Plate In Solid, Cast Brass

OK product but had to choose from limited finish selection.

Bought two of this item in brushed nickel, one for each side of a swing door to the kitchen. I was shocked at how heavy this plate was. This is not a flimsy item. I am very happy with the look and feel of this on my door. If your considering it I would fully recommend this item for you.

The push plate itself is very heavy duty - really like that. The only problem is the included screws, which have philips heads in matching finish. It really should have slotted screws in matching finish. I've been too lazy to go out and try to find the right screws.

We turned this plate horizontal, and engraved it with a 1"" high letter, stained the letters black, and it makes a wonderful door name plate ! A classic touch to a beautiful home Almost impossible to find such a plate. And it came out perfect. We're thrilled

We bought the New York push plate for the dining room door of our new house. The plates were badly warped and clearly would not flatten with installation. We asked for a replacement only to find that the replacement was warped too! We are disappointed.

Heavy brass, resistant to fingerprints and tarnish. Simple design is complement to traditional detailing. Certainly many grades up from what I found for more money at other sites or stores.

I want my new kitchen butler door to match the quality of the rest of my house, and these push plates do that nicely!

We actually returned this as we were looking for a brushed nickel look with some non-brushed. That is what the picture looked like, the nickel is totally shiney.
