Description

Elegant simplicity perfectly describes this classic New York door set. The crisply tailored plates and brilliant octagonal knobs proclaim your refined taste, whether your style is Victorian, Craftsman or Classical in tone. True to the 19th century originals, our modern recreation retains a keyhole, giving you the look of a vintage mortise lock without the complicated installation - perfect for new construction! (matching mortise-lock sets are also available). Substantial forged brass parts and a heavy duty latch provide enduring quality, backed by our five year warranty.

Door set dimensions: crystal glass octagonal doorknobs measure 2 1/4" across. Back plates are 7" H x 2 1/4" W.

Latch dimensions: Latch case: 7/8" diameter. Latch face plate: 2 1/4" H x 1" W.
Standard door range: 1 3/8" to 1 3/4" thick.

Privacy
Latch and lock - This set has a privacy pin next to the inside knob or lever which is pushed in to lock. The door is unlocked by turning the knob or lever on the inside and can also be unlocked from the outside by pushing a small screwdriver through the emergency release hole. Typically found on bedroom or bathroom doors.

Hardware Tip

Clean finished look

Comments:

I have a home built in the 1920's. The previous owner had no respect for the craftmanship of the home and a lot of the original features were destroyed. I restored the bathroom and added the door plate and crystal knob. It was the finishing touch and looks beautiful. My homes 1920 personality came out. I am purchasing this item for all my interior doors. They are beautiful.

love my new knob

this knob is so pretty. it was tricky to install and the instructions had a few steps that didn't match but i managed to do it. it makes me happy every time i look at it. i installed it on a door with the 4 5/16"" Traditional Style Surface Door Bolt In Solid Brass and they look great together.

Matched old style

I rebuilt a section of my 125 yr old victorian. I was happy to find door hardware that matched the old original hardware even to the exact measurements. I will now be working on updating other doors in the house that are not working properly or had other hardware installed by a previous owner that does not match the original. I'm happy with the product.

Vintage Chrome Glass Doorknobs

I just finished putting the Waldorf Chrome glass knobs throughout my entire new 2017 house build. I would recommend them as they have a great vintage unique appeal as well as a nice comfortable feel. My professional installer had no issues with the instructions as well as my husband. I have the chrome backplate and it dresses up the plain shaker doors beautify. I'm extremely happy with the product although wished they were made in USA rather than Taiwan.
