This simple wallplate with its incised border and characteristic hammered surface, is made of solid, cast brass. Choose from two vintage finishes of Antiqued Brass or Oil-Rubbed Bronze. 4 9/16-inch x 4 1/2-inch.

The product is very heavy and will outlast me. I bought this particular one because it was bungalow style but now that I have them in place I think they look a little too detailed for my plain Jane house. I wish I would have bought a different style. I have no complaints about the product and when you are feeling a blank wall for the button, you can definitely tell where it is.

This switchplate would stop a bullet. It is heavy to hold. This is the real deal. When digging through the ruins of your home 2000 years from now someone will find this switchplate long after the switch, wiring and the wall, have disintigrated.
