A little disappointing

Comments:

I bought a switch cover and outlet plate. Both the switch and the outlet are screwed to the wall. So covets generally have a slight curve to accommodate the fact that the screws are not quite flush. These plates are completely flat so they are tight to the switch/outlet assembly, but have a gap from the wall.

Talk about a solid chunk of heavy metal, there was no skimping on this plate!

We've replaced our switch plates throughout the house with these and are very happy.

So handsome looking!

Comments:

I am slowly replacing all the cheap, plastic electrical plates in my 1914 Craftsman with these plates and I could not be happier. These things are amazing - they are solid brass (and boy, can you tell!) and look stunning on the wall. I've gotten nothing but compliments on them and I expect they'll last as long as the house does! One note: if for some reason your switches weren't installed at the proper depth, the plates can stand off the wall a little. These are flat on the back side (whereas most plastic plates have a slight recess to account for different installation depths).
