Amazing antique detail in our 145 year old home
Comments:
The switch plate is flat, not curved on the edges the way cheap plastic plate covers are, so the edges don't sit flush against the wall. The edges sit 1mm off the wall however it's hardly noticeable and I my opinion adds to the unique charm of antique details in the house.;

Wow! I love the weight and substance of these outlets and switch covers. They really fit in well with our style of home. Thanks for bringing back the unique bungalow style to our home.

This is a nice piece. Different that the usual at the big boxes. Great quality
Great look for Spanish Mission
Comments:
This looks great in my Spanish Mission remodel, though I could see this work in an Arts and Crafts context as well. If you're going for a more formal look this might not work. It has a very hand-crafted, artisan-made look and feel. The only thing to be aware of is that it sits flush on the back, so if your electrical box is not set properly back into the wall you might see a slight gap behind the plate - for me that was only the case on a few switches and it is not really noticeable unless you're paying very close attention.

Nice touch to our home
Comments:
We just added a couple of these to our newly-painted & refreshed dining room, and are completely happy with them. Our house is only 30 years old, but we prefer an older look in many of our furnishings & accessories. (We've also put the similar Arts & Crafts version of these in our kitchen/breakfast area.) They are solid, well made & nicely finished; I don't think you'll find anything like these in the local home improvement stores. We replaced our switches with brown versions, which we felt looked best with the rubbed bronze finish. Pay attention to the seller's warnings that your electrical boxes need to be flush with the surface, or slightly recessed, as the backs are truly flat, and the plates will not sit flush on the wall if the box protrudes past the wall surface. Breaking the little ""ears"" off the switches/receptacles may also be necessary to have them sit completely flush.
Perfect for our Craftsman
Comments:
Perfect. Exactly what I was hoping to find for our 1920s Craftsman. The perfect blend of antique and modern was impossible to find at other retailers. So happy to have found these.
Really pretty!

I purchased this and other switch plate covers since I am redoing a room. They add that ""special touch"" to a room and bring it to life with its own personality. They are well worth the money and I would definitely purchase from here again. These have ""weight"" to them, great quality!
