Bungalow Style Push Button / GFI Combination Switch Plate In Solid Cast Brass

This is a flush mount item, unlike other covers that are raised. Thus, if using on old work boxes, use madison bars so that the box sits behind the wallboard and the switch plate can be flush with the wall. Otherwise you will have a gap between the plate and the wall.

I was very impressed by the quality of this switch plate.It is indeed sloid cast brass with a wonderful antique finish. We are renovating a 1920 Craftsman bungalow and wanted to put back some of the original craftsmanship. This switch plate is the perfect addition!

These plates look great but don't fit well. There is no recess on the back side to make up for anything proud of the Sheetrock or plaster, even the device screw. I was warned of this by the sales person when I bought them so it was expected. Most of these plates will stick off of the wall a little bit. That being said it is a nice looking plate. The finish is excellent

I like the finish of this wall plate and it goes well with the finish of my house, adding a nice touch to the entry way light switch. The flat base however does stand out unless you are able to recess the mounting plate of the switch, as the back of the wall plate is flat and will not accommodate the screws holding the switch onto the gang box. This was very minor and easy enough to work around.
