Traditional Single GFI Cover Plate In Forged Brass

I got these to replace the generic white covers I had and I was not disappointed. I purchased the unlacquered brass plate and they look awesome.

I upgraded old outlets to tamper-resistant GFCI, and this cover plate helped bring the look back to match the room's original splendor. One of the included screws did shear off when I tried to install, though.

We replaced all of our outlet and switch cover plate when we renovated our 1926 home. We purchased several different finishes, all of which were fantastic. The plates were quite a bit heavier than those you can purchase at a hardware store, which shows. Customer service was phenomenal, extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I recommend the House of Hardware without reservation!

Classic, sturdy and well made. One tiny criticism is that the crews could be better. They were not as well finished as the plate itself. Otherwise perfect.

I have a 1913 house, but I also have some 2018 grounded plugs, so I had to come up with some new cover plates that perform with the new, but acknowledge the old. Although not exactly like the antique plates that they replaced (the bevel is slightly different), they are still consistent with the overall character of the older plates. I purchased the unlaquered plates in the hopes that that they would eventually develop the same patina as my antiques- although I believe that the process will be slow. I was very surprised that the plates were as heavy as they were- much heavier than you could expect to find in a standard home improvement store. Overall- these plates exhibited good value and I am pleased with the purchase.
