Thick solid brass, and high quality finish. A bit more orange than the original brass features in our historic house that I was hoping to match, but as it's unlaquered brass I'm expecting the patina that develops will make the color difference less noticeable.

My house is over 100 years old and I prefer to use quality and style appropriate accessories. This is perfect.

I've purchased this plate in two finishes, Oil-Rubbed Bronze and Antique Brass. Both are beautiful. It's a pleasure now to switch on the lights.

Used this product in a cabin from the 40's. It was a great fit and finished it off nicely!

Fairly expensive and disappointed not to have matching screws - not sure where to purchase screws separately. I can find plenty of white, off white and brass but not antique brass!
