I liked this product. Oil rubbed color looks nice. Its heavy and high quality.

I was surprised by the weight and the beauty of these plates. At a guess they are probably heavier brass than the original 1900s ones - plates in my house had long since been replaced by cheap plastic, so I don't know. These are gorgeous and do certainly look hand-forged. I started with the kitchen and now plan to gradually change out all the plates in the house. They really make the construction of a room look more substantial.

We were restoring the living room in our 1910 home and many of the original brass switch plates and covers were either missing (replaced with plastic - ugh!) or in poor condition. We are very pleased with the look, quality and price of what we purchased! The look of the room has truly been dressed up and brought back to its early 20th century appeal.
