Push Button Switch Plates

Comments:

The brass switch plates have held their finish well everywhere but in the bathroom where the finish has tarnished and cannot be restored. That is what I bought a new one. The nickel switch plates are great in the kitchen and bathroom and work just great with no finish problems.

Push button switch plate

Comments:

I bought more expensive push button switchplates and they weren't worth the money. This switch plate looks great and was an excellent buy. I would defininately buy them again.

Really nice - will be buying many more

Comments:

I bought several different models of switch plates to put up and compare. Surprisingly, although this one is the most basic, it is the one I like the most and will be going with for the rest of the house. The raw brass has enough natural, subtle color/finish character to have a rich, deep color and a slightly used appearance like what the original plates in my house have. For contrast, the polished brass plates (even the unlacquered ones) that I bought at the same time look a little too hot off the presses - they ""try"" too hard. The stamped, raw brass plates looks rich and natural, and contribute to a general, overall appearance of depth and aesthetic in the room, rather than shouting their presence. The only change I would ask for is more beveling around the button holes. Will be using these throughout the house. #sweepstakes

Restoring Charater

Comments:

I have a 1926 house inwhich I am trying to restore some of the character that has been stripped away. I have installed push button light switches where I can and these raw-brass covers work great. Looks like they've always been here.

Shiny!

Comments:

Bought at 1915 home and had to replace about 8 switches so needed 8 plates. These are beautiful and add such a quality finish to our home.

The best light switch & outlet covers

Comments:

The matte black covers are great & they come in the push button style, so we can blend modern style in our craftsman renovation.

This the only place to shop for my house

None

Works well and looks good

Comments:

Not as heavy as the Hart & Hegeman original, but close enough

your basic brass

Comments:

the quality of the plates varied, so I just put the best ones on the most prominent switches.
