Description

Authentic colonial style and a rough black finish make these classic New York strap hinges a great choice for period restorations. These very sturdy hinges lift off for easy maintenance and have a 1 1/2" offset (3" throw). Made from 1/4" thick cast iron, they are powder coated to resist rust.

Dimensions:
Strap: 4 5/16" H x 5 1/8" W. Thickness: 1/4"
Offset: 1 1/2" (from back of strap to center of pintle)
Throw: 3"
Mounting plate: 3 3/8" H x 1 1/4" W x 1/4" thick.
Fastener/s: #8 x 1" wood screws

These hinges are the real deal!

We bought these hinges to install with five sets of 6' tall wood composite shutters. They really add historic character and visual depth since they are actual functioning hinges. We had a professional install them due to the size and weight of the shutters. Love the final results! Would definitely recommend.
