Pair of 1/2" Diameter Stainless Steel Pintles with 3 1/4" Offset
Description
With a 3 1/4" offset, these traditional arch-top pintles work well with brick or stone houses. Use them to replace worn or damaged pintles or to build your own custom sized shutter hinges (straps sold separately). Made of heavy duty stainless steel which is powder coated black.
Dimensions. Mounting Plate: 3 5/8" H x 1 1/2" W x 1/8" Thick. pintle Rod: 1/2" Diameter x 3 1/4" offset.

Hardware Tip
The offset of plate pintles is approximately the depth measurement from the back of the mounting plate to the center of the rod. Sometimes the offset measurement does not include the plate thickness.

Good hinges -- bad screws
Comments:
Needed this product to install workable shutters on our south Louisana home. They work great but we had one major issue. The screws sent to secure the Pintles to the home are way to soft. Putting these into Cement fiber was not a good thing. We planned on drilling and did, but that did not help the second pentle installation resulted in the breaking off of the head of the screw. Had to apply soap to the screw for it go in without breaking. Broke more the second day. Would recommend going to a local hardware store and purchase harder steel screws.
