Pair of Shutter Anti-Vibration Brackets For Lag Mount Shutter Dogs
Description
These brackets made of plastic and stainless steel can be used with all of our lag mount shutter dogs. Fits up to a 3/8" diameter lag bolt and is easy to adjust. The brackets hold the shutter panel and dog together firmly to reduce rattling in the wind. The distance from the center of the lag bolt to the edge of the shutter must be 1 1/2" or less for these to work. The tube portion slides over the shutter dog lag bolt on the back side of the shutter. It is locked in place with a small set screw. The knob is then tightened against the back of the shutter to keep from rattling.
Hardware Tip
Using anti vibration brackets will reduce wear and increase the lifetime of your shutters and hardware.

8 pairs of board and batten shutters , I used 19"" strap hinges , 7 "" shutters dogs and anti vibration brackets.
These work a couple of different ways....

These mounts work as advertised if you swing them up to pin the shutter to the S hook but if you swing down against the bottom half of the ""S"" hook once you pull the lag in it will hold it tight as well. Its just another secure point if you use bullet or acorn mounts on top - highly recommended in any case!!
