These hooks work great in our 1930's storybook house on our existing rail! I plan to add more rail to the rooms that don't have it so we can hang more pictures with out the hassle and damage of nails in the thick plaster! All houses should have the rail! These hooks are a little bendable so you can make them contour your rail a little for a better fit as well!

I purchased the crown molding hooks for some additional pictures I need to hang when I ran out of the hooks that I had originally received with the house. I looked all over and this was the only place I found the ones I needed. I've purchased other variations in the past and found the hook too deep for the original moldings or didn't stay on.
