Plain Tapered Picture Rail Hook

I used the hooks it to hang pictures from a picture molding. Worked perfectly.

I'm creating a whole gallery of paintings and handiwork for a small museum. I decided on the old ""picture molding with ail hooks."" This system would allow me to change out collections with less damage (holes in walls). I found these hooks and was concerned that these hooks would not be able to hold up some of the larger heavier frames, so I also purchased the ""heavy-duty hooks"" just in case (not much different in price.) But what I found is these hooks are very strong and their design sits better on my picture rail than the heavy-duty ones. (but they are fine too). I like the simple design of these hooks too. Much stronger than they look, or is described on the website.

This is the second set of picture rail hooks. Bought these because they were relatively inexpensive. They work great for our 1926 home.

These are beautiful and hold my pictures on the molding very well.
