Love these picture rail hooks
Comments:
This is the second set of picture rail hooks. Bought these because they were relatively inexpensive. They work great for our 1926 home.
Lovely in my new home
Comments:
Subtle and beautiful. This item compliments most of the other hooks so that your hangers don't look so busy if you are using a lot on one wall. We used these plain ones along with the Ivy ones and they looked very nice in our new home. We didn't want a cluttered look and we didn't want to put holes in the new walls. PLUS using a picture rail and hooks allows us to change our pictures often and easily. Glad we found them here.
molding hooks
Comments:
I have a portrait/fine art show room in my studio and use picture rail and molding hooks for hanging my work. This is so much easier and better than putting holes in the wall! I also have several rented apartments in a beautiful 1880's building that also utilizes picture rails. I provide molding hooks for my tenants' use. I have recommended your molding hooks to others and at least one person has purchased molding hooks from you based on my referral.
Must Have Item
Comments:
Everything about these hooks is wonderful. I am now considering putting picture rail in every room in my home. I have a 1916 Craftsman Bungalow with plaster walls in many of the rooms. These hooks are the perfect answer to surface protection and preservation.
My basic go-to picture hook
Comments:
These are not my basic, go-to picture hooks. They are attractive, high quality, exactly as show on your website but the pictures don't really do them justice. The quality of the brass wasn't apparent until I actually opened the package and held them in my hand. They are beautiful.
Nice hook
Comments:
I own a 1913 Craftsman home, so nothing too fancy except the leaded glass cabinet doors, so this worked well keeping to period I believe. I am removing the paint from the wood and will stain the woodwork, but the pictures can give you an idea of what they look like. I purchased two other types from HFA for other rooms.
perfect answer to my picture problem.
Comments:
since I never know how my plaster wall will take to a nail being pounded into it, these are the perfect answer. They fit perfectly into the look of my old house.
Perfect for Open Studio in my home.
Comments:
I was hosting an Open Studio in my home studio (house was built in 1923) and looking at potential hanging systems. I decided the original picture rails in my house would of course be perfect, but I'd only found unattractive hangers - that didn't work well with my rails - in local hardware stores. I took a chance on these hangers and I'm so glad I did. The hangers hug the round top of the molding perfectly and are an authentic subtle shape. I didn't want fancy filagree, just something practical, that looked right in the house and didn't distract from the art. These were perfect. The only con: I got the oil rubbed bronze finish and the patina rubbed off on my hands as I worked with them. This was alarming, because I was working with art, and the walls below the rail are off-white. Once I realized this was happening, I just remained aware and washed my hands often. The finish ideally should be more fixed. Otherwise, these hangers work well and are of excellent quality.
perfect for our 1917 foursquare
Comments:
We've ordered from this company before, as we are restoring our 1917 home in Florida. We are always pleased!
Perfect for our 93 y/o home!
Comments:
We have a 93 year old home with plaster walls. Hanging art with nails was not an option but thankfully we have a picture rail in every room. I'm so thankful we found House of Antique Hardware & their picture rail hooks. They are very reasonably priced with many different options for design & finishes. They look great holding our New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival poster collection!
