Excellent hanger. Works perfectly with our molding - and we have more than one type of molding in different rooms. These hangers work on each type of molding. Additionally, the hangers support quite a bit of weight. Looks great when used with the 3-ply twisted picture hanging cord.

We have a 93 year old home with plaster walls. Hanging art with nails was not an option but thankfully we have a picture rail in every room. I'm a new homeowner of an old home with picture moldings, and I searched far and wide for hooks but HoAH was the only gem of an establishment that actually gave me options! I tore open the box as soon as it arrived (in TWO days! Makes the shipping cost hurt a lot less!) and started putting pictures up and marveling at how cool it looked. I can't wait to have people over to see my picture molding at work. I'm serious. The finish is divine (I got the antique brass) and I think I'll be staring at my stupid little hooks for weeks.

While clean and simple, it is also thin and strong (and good for getting into any tight gaps between rail and ceiling. The style seems to go well in a 1920s era house.

For picture hanging on rail molding

We installed picture rails throughout our entire house (plaster walls in a mid century concrete building). We initially ordered one of each type of hanger offered to see which we liked best. Some were prettier or more stylish, but they curved over the top of the rail and hung straight down (causing the framed artwork to hang away from the wall about an inch or so). We really loved this style because it curved back into the railing toward the wall and had no (or less) gap in between wall and artwork. We ordered 40 and are about to order 40 more. A very good product!
