Perfect for my old house
Comments:
I got about six switch plates for my 1920's Tudor revival, this was the one of the few places that had what matched.
Stylish without being over the top

House of Antique Hardware offers top notch products and provides excellent service. I have been a customer for nearly 3 decades.
Very nice piece.

Fine touches mean everything

Simple and easy way to refine your space. Makes a ton of difference and finishes the room.
I would probably buy this product again

Beautiful and special receptacle covers, once installed. Be aware: the back is dead-flat, not recessed like a modern plastic cover. Typically your receptacle's mounting/retaining screw (that attaches the receptacle to the electrical box in the wall) as well as the tabs at the top of the receptacle sit proud of the wall. This means that this cover will sit off the wall by about 3/16 to 1/4 inch, which is ugly and wrong. To fix you'll have to manually set each receptacle back into the wall, which takes a lot of fiddling. Again, once installed they are beautiful, but moving the receptacle back is a bit of a hassle.
Excellent quality. We have our entire home done with these.
Comments:
Plates are flat on the back. Your outlets must be recessed for the plate to sit against the wall.
Unique and lovely

We bought this for a new Granny flat we're making look old to match our 1924 Craftsman bungalow. Excited to have real push buttons and a plate to match our bungalow style.
Suits my 1930s home perfectly
Comments:
It finally occurred to me to get rid of those ugly plastic switchplate covers and since my home is a 1930s bungalow I chose this style, in a finish to match my vintage lamps, and what a difference such a small thing as period-detail covers makes. Very pleased!
Beautiful, but be aware of an issue with renovations
Comments:
Be aware that the back side of the plate is flat. If you are using cut-in boxes, the plastic flange of the box lies against the wall, sticking out slightly from the plane of the wall. The flat back of the switch plate will not sit flat against the wall like a regular switch plate.
So much style!
Comments:
I love these plates because they are so well made and for the same price as cheap ones. They really bring up the personality of a room in a subtle way.
