Description

Dating from the late 19th century, this small rim lock is ideal for French and screen doors. Finely crafted from cast iron and available in two vintage finishes, it features mostly brass interior parts for long-lasting quality. Paired with solid cast-Iron knobs, it's a period perfect Victorian-style set suited for both rustic and refined interiors. Fully reversible for right or left handed doors.

Dimensions: Latch body - 2 1/8" H x 2 3/8" W x 3/4" T. Keeper - 2 1/8" H x 3/4" W x 3/4" T. Backset: 1 1/2". Rosette: 1 7/8" diameter. Knobs: 1 7/8" diameter. Spindle: 20 TPI measuring 4" L x 9/32".

Door Thickness: 1" to 1 3/4". Includes an Allen wrench and set screws for mounting knobs to spindle.

Hardware Tip

Rim locks are attached to the surface of a door operated by a knob or lever. Rim locks are mounted on in-swing doors on the inside of a room with a skeleton key and/or privacy bolt to lock.

Well made rustic door locks
