The hinges are very nice, but the screws are very soft and strip very easily.

We were replacing a couple of doors and needed new hardware, so I decided to splurge. I'm so glad I did! I went back and bought enough hinges to redo ALL my doors. They are absolutely gorgeous and provide an unexpected touch of luxury.

I bought these for a new solid wood door that I had ordered. The original hinges were bent in shipping. This is a very heavy door so when I say bent I mean BENT. These new hinges are very solid and smooth and handle this big heavy door like it's nothing. They are one of the few hinges I found that are the proper thickness for a door like this. Plus they look amazing!! Absolutely my only complaint is that the included screws are super soft and strip easily. I was putting these into mahogany, so even when the predrilled holes they stripped out quite easily. It's awesome that you get both flathead and phillips head though.

Loved the look! This will be adorning our Cape May beach cottage cedar screen door.

I have bought this product for a second time in five years. I still maintain they are better quality as the original 125 year old hardware in the house, but than again I believe it's a Sear and Roebucks house. ""it looks similar to a house kit in a 1895 catalogue"" At any rate the finish has held up beautifully the new set looks the same as the set I purchased years ago.

I'm using the 4"" hinges steeple/vine hinges for my front door and the 3.5"" ones for interior doors. They add that extra little unique design/ jewelry touch to my home.

This is going on a New front door. I wouldn't try and do it myself. Door cost to much. I order 3 1/2 "" first and the contractor said I needed 4"". It all work out because I am replacing two other interior doors that the 3 1/2 will work on fine.

These are going in a new home and will add to the gorgeous French flair and antiques!
